Spinal Disc Problems

Herniated Disc TreatmentHerniated Disc, Slipped Disc, Prolapsed Disc, Bulging Discs - these are all terms which describe the outward movement of the centre of the disc which, amongst other things, can put pressure on nerves or inflammation can cause irritation of nerves.

Degenerative Disc Disease - DDD describes the process whereby a disc loses water and 'dehydrates'.  When a disc degenerates, this commonly results in a loss of disc height which causes other joints in the spine to be put under strain or cause nerves to become pinched.
